SHIPPING POLICY

1. Introduction

All order come with a standard £3.99 P&P per order Multi order still only i P&P price.

2. Order Processing Times

Clearly state how long it takes to prepare an order for dispatch.

  • Specify the number of business days (e.g., "All orders are processed within 1-2 business days").

  • Mention any order cutoff times (e.g., "Orders placed after 3 PM on Friday will be processed the following Monday").

  • State if weekends and holidays are excluded from processing and delivery times. 

3. Domestic (UK) Shipping Options and Costs

List the available shipping methods, the carrier used, estimated delivery times, and the associated costs in a simple, easy-to-scan format (like a table).

4. International Shipping

If you ship internationally, include a dedicated section with specific details. 

  • List the countries you ship to and any restrictions (e.g., cannot ship certain items).

  • Provide estimated delivery times and costs, noting they can vary significantly.

  • Crucially, clarify that the customer is responsible for any import duties, customs fees, and taxes that may be incurred upon arrival in their country. 

5. Order Tracking & Confirmation

Explain how customers can track their order.

  • Confirm that a shipment confirmation email with tracking information will be sent once the order is dispatched.

  • Provide a contact point for issues with tracking or lost packages. 

6. Damages and Issues

Outline the procedure for customers to follow if their order arrives damaged or is lost in transit.

  • Explain how to report the issue and the timeframe for doing so (e.g., "Please inspect your order upon reception... and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged...").

  • Clarify your process for replacements or refunds in these scenarios. 

7. Returns and Cancellations Summary

Briefly summarise your returns and cancellation policy and link to the full, separate returns policy page. 

  • Remind customers of their statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods and a further 14 days to return them for a full refund (including the initial standard delivery cost).

  • State that the customer usually needs to cover the cost of return delivery, unless the item is faulty. 

8. Service Interruptions

Include a clause about potential delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, carrier issues, or peak seasons like Christmas). During such times, consider adding an announcement bar to your homepage. 

UK Legal Requirements Checklist

  • Provide Clear Information Pre-Contract: You must clearly display delivery options, costs, and timeframes before the customer places the order.

  • Default Delivery within 30 Days: Unless a specific date is agreed upon, you must deliver goods within 30 days. If you fail to do so, the customer has the right to a full refund.

  • Include Business Details: Your business name, physical address, email, company number, and VAT number (if registered) must be easily accessible (e.g., in the website footer).

  • Right to Cancel: You must inform customers of their 14-day "cooling-off" period to cancel online orders. A cancellation form should be provided, though customers can also use their own written notification.
